We went to the beach in the morning for a couple hours (which is what we did every morning we were there.) After that we came back and had lunch at the house and rested and took naps.
Later in the afternoon I took the 3 older boys out for a little walk to explore our area.
This was slightly concerning. The wetlands were EVERYWHERE around our housing and I'll admit it made me slightly nervous. But after day 2 we were over it.
After Grayson woke up from his nap we drove around Ft Morgan a little bit, found the Ferry that we planned to ride on Tuesday, and went to dinner at a restaurant right on the docks.
Interesting, most of the restaurant staff were born & raised in Alabama or were from the Czech Republic. We don't know why that is the case though. Maybe our waitress was a long lost relative?
Every evening we also went swimming. Most of the time we had the pool to ourselves so it was awesome.
