Adley Lynn - 15 Months

Miss Adley is 15 months old.  Ever since she has started eating table foods over baby food, she has grown a lot!  She is 32in in height, 90 percentile and 22lbs 9oz in weight which is 46 percentile.  So she is tall and skinny, I don't know where she gets it from!

She is pretty funny little girl who loves attention.  She is quite the dare devil too.  She is our first child that likes to be tossed about.

She is a climber, daily we have to get her off the dining table.

We had her diaper box just setting off to the side and she kept crawling up on it to sit and eat a snack. This girl also loves potato chips.

Some healthy Shakeology for breakfast.

Aiden sharing his grape juice popsicle he made.

I received this little cabinet for my birthday and she loved crawling inside of it.

T-Ball

Aiden started T-Ball this summer.  He was not a fan.  I think he played 2 games and was done for the rest of the season.  He just could not understand why we signed him up for t-ball and not real baseball.  We kept telling him that t-ball was the first step to learning baseball but he did not care.   So we'll see...this kids just doesn't seem to have much interest in sports.

Funny thing, the first game it was his turn to go up to bat.  The coach yells at him to "Watch the ball" (which makes zero sense since its t-ball and the ball isn't doing anything) so Aiden did.  He stood there for at least a minute looking at the ball.  Finally Adam yelled, "Swing" to get him to do something.

Umi's

When Adam makes a placement we try do something a little more fun and exciting then what we normally do.  So with this one we decided to treat them to Umi's.  The boys loved it.  The best part, all 6 of us caught the piece of shrimp in our mouths.  Grayson and Aiden may have received a little help.

Heroes in Disguise

Now that the boys are out of school, I get help on Fridays with cleaning the house.  This was Aiden's contribution after he dusted.  (This also happened after I told him not to put stickers on my walls, he's such a good listener.)

Last Day of Lunch

Being the great mother that I am, I've never have joined my kids for school lunch.  Last day of school, Aiden talks me into it.  We had left over pizza so I told Aiden I would bring him some for lunch that day.  Our little neighbor is in the same grade as Aiden so he joined us too.

Pretty cute lunch dates...

Although this 45 minutes made it perfectly clear to me that I'm not cut out to work in schools.  School lunch time is absolutely disgusting.

Field Day

The end of the school year always brings Field Day.  It was Aiden's first time to participate.  Unfortunately I mis-scheduled my dentist appointment so I didn't get to see Xavier and Damon participate in games and such.  But Aiden had a great time.

Band Concert

Xavier participated in an all school band concert.  Adam got the pleasure of getting to take him to it.

These two...

are a lot of fun together...with the school year coming to an end it will no longer be the 3 of us during the day.  One more year until Grayson goes to school.

Piano Concert

The boys have a piano recital every year at a retirement home with yummy treats after.  This was one of the best attended (and best treats) they had had.  They are both doing really well in their piano lessons even if they are not as excited about them as they use to be.  :)

Mother's Day Weekend

For Mother's Day we decided to try something new.  We went to Hay's House in Council Grove for lunch on Saturday along with Adam's parents and Grandma.

On Sunday, we drove down to El Dorado to spend the day with my family and celebrated Lois' Birthday as well as Mother's day.

My parents, because they are awesome, surprised us with jewelry...best.surprise.ever!

Steak + Pie + Jewelry + Family Time = A pretty good Mother's day if you ask me!

Grayson, also gifted me with a fruit loop necklace until his sister discovered it and ate them all.

5th Grade Field Trip

Adam and Xavier went on the 5th grade field trip.  It is over night at the Rock Springs Camp.  Adam went last year with Damon and had a lot of fun (more then he expected) and offered to go again this time around.  They always do a lot of fun things, they spend time at Ft Riley first and then they go on to the camp.  They rode horses, went canoeing and had other fun games for them to do.  They also did a talent show that night.
