Jesus was a Baptist

Wednesday night as we were driving to Jim's office this was the conversation...

Damon: "Jesus was a baptist."
Xavier: "Yes I know, he was a baptist. So was John the Baptizer."
Damon: "I'm going to be a baptist too and a baptizer."
Xavier: "Me too."
Me: "So, why do you think Jesus was a baptist?"
Damon & Xavier: "He was baptized mom, of course he's a baptist."
Me: "Oh...OK. So when you get baptized you will be a baptist too?"
Damon: "Yes and when I grow up I'll be a baptizer."

Butterfly

This guy was waiting for us when we got home from school today. Xavier has a love/hate relationship with bugs. Today it was love, we had to get a shot.

At the driving range...

We bought the boys a golf set a couple of weeks ago and finally had a free moment to go to the driving range. Saturday evening we bought a small bucket and Adam did his best to show them how to do it. There were some moments of frustrations (for Adam, Damon and Xavier) but they ended up liking it (I think) and kinda getting the hang out of it (key word is kinda).

Babe Ruth moment for Damon?

Is he not the cutest? Love the baby!

Little Boy in a Big Bed

Adam put Aiden down for a nap on our bed Saturday so D & X could keep playing games. When I went to check on him he was completely unwrapped and out cold.

First Day of School

My big boys ready for the first day of school.

All my boys...

On their way.

As we walked up to the school, I told the boys that I needed to walk around so I could get to the wheelchair ramp. Damon said he was going to just go on without me. He offers to take Xavier to class too. I asked Xavier if that is what he wants to do. I'm totally shocked that he said yes and was completely ok with it. Well as we get up to the school, Xavier says to me, "OK you can take me to class. He was a little nervous as we waited for them to line all the 1st grade and Kindergateners up. But he went in just fine.

Damon's the cheeseball in the yellow.

Xavier ready to learn.

Aiden has an eating problem...

The Incredible Hulk face...

He's still cute...

Unless you hold his left hand, food gets everywhere...As you can see.

Body Hair

So the other day Damon and I for some random reason started talking about body hair and how it comes when you get older. I tell him one day he will have body hair in his armpits and he said, "Oh yeah, and on our backs too!" He seemed really excited about back hair. I think that is a first for the world.

Thursday, Adam and I went to dinner with our bishop and his wife (Adam is trying to grow me some friends in the ward and he has picked out the bishop's wife for me.) So of course our trusty babysitter and accomplice (aka Grandma and Grandpa Little) were over to watch three guys. Damon wanted to play a Pirates of Carribean game he played at the Furnells. He had to have a user name and password. Grandma came up with the name "Damon Dinnertime". Honestly, I had kinda forgotten that Damon used to think his name was Damon Dinnertime Dolezal back when he was about 3 years old. It was one of my favorite things he used to say all the time. I loved it when people would ask his name and he would respond with, "Damon Dinnertime Dolezal." I could never figure out how or why he thought it was his name and then my sister pointed out that I probably call him that atleast once a day, "Damon. Dinner time"

He's such a cute boy.
