50 Mile Race

Back in March Adam ran a 50 mile race, most of it was in the snow and rain.  They just posted a video of the race on their website, Adam is in it quite a bit.  Thought I would post the link for all to see it too.

A few weeks later he ran the Rockin K (this is the one he shaved his head for the year before).  I never posted about either race so here you go...a couple pictures that the race people took during the race.

Grayson's 3rd Birthday

Grayson turned 3 on the 20th and we were able to celebrate with a little party for him on Sunday.  We had pizza for dinner and cake and ice cream of course.    Grayson couldn't decide FOREVER on what to put on his cake but he finally chose Thomas the Train.  I can't remember how many train cakes I've done, I'm guessing 6, but I'm hoping this is the LAST ONE!  Sick of TRAINS!  (I  just know Adley will grow up playing with all of our trains and will want a train cake too when the time comes!)

He received a lot of great presents and was quite the pro at unwrapping.  He had them all lined up nicely and would move from one gift to the next.  Very efficient this one.

Time for cake...he wasn't very excited because we had to pull him away from his new toys.  Cake is not as exciting as toys!

My Favorite Skirt

I haven't blogged about my new adventure so I thought I would now.

In July I started selling skirts through a company called LuLaRoe.  They are based in California and are a family owned business that has been around for over 25 years.  They make maxi skirts, a-line skirts, pencils skirts and have one style of dress.  They also have maxi skirts for little girls too.

The skirts come in really fun fabrics and are really flattering on every one.  The fabrics are always changing and will change with the seasons and what is current.  It has been a lot of fun and I have really enjoyed it.

If you are interested in purchasing, you can purchase skirts through my Facebook page.  Just comment on the picture of the skirt you want and I will email you an invoice and ship the skirt to you.  I charge $5 for shipping.  If you are NOT in the state of KS, you do not have to pay sales tax.

I have a loyal program, when you purchase 10 items, you will get the next one free.

You can also host a party and get free items.  You will get a free skirt for every 10 items purchased.

First Day of School

My big three before the first day of school...

Damon - 6th grade

 Xavier - 5th grade

Aiden - Kindergarten

All the boys were so excited to start school, including Grayson.  He was completely devastated that he didn't get to go too.  The night before the first day we went to the back to school night and Grayson kept asking, "Where my room?  Whose my teacher?  Where my friends?"
Then he would throw a massive fit in every door way of every classroom.  It. Was. Awesome!

The two little ones on our walk to school.

Aiden looked a little nervous before school but he didn't want me to stay with him until the school day actually started. (We were really early, they were so excited!)  We haven't even had a full week yet and he has loved everything.  Even school lunch.
