Damon's Day at School

Today the teacher met me to pick up Damon with a paper in her hand. She said, "We had a VERY good day at school today." She had a list of about 10 sentences that Damon not only put together but also spelled every word out. She was so proud of him she had to show me his work. Mrs. Fisher said it was funny because she was trying to get him to spell out words and he wouldn't do it, the reason was he wanted to do entire sentences instead of words. She then took him to the office, his reading teacher, his speech teacher, and one of the other Kindergarten teachers to show his progress. They also took a picture of him with one of his sentences he formed. She also said what was cool about it is that some of the other kids wanted to do it too after Damon had done it. He's such a leader!
