Warning...a farting post.

This post itself does not fart...but the subject is about farting.

Today at dinner (Makes you want to come over for a meal huh?) Adam farted near Damon's head. It was a little close then I would want a fart near my head. Damon was not happy about it and was trying not to get too upset. But then he says, "Now I have a fart-face." At this point, Adam and I lose it and about die of laughter. Poor Damon also loses it and runs off upset. Xavier then pipes in and in all seriousness says, "Parents, these days."

Jordan

My niece Jordan stayed with us for a week, she has done this for the past 4 summers. Its always fun to have her and the boys love her. Plus she babysits so I can do somethings with out toting the boys around.

Thursday we went shopping at the mall. Now we were at the mall for over 3 hours. It was long and tiring. The boys were pretty good troopers. But Damon was making me laugh. He started saying some really funny things. Stuff like, "You girls shop too much." "I'm glad I'm a boy and I don't waste time shopping." "Girls like shopping way too much."

Friday we went to the splash park. Xavier really loved it. Damon kinda enjoyed it. Jordan thought it was too cold. And Aiden hated it with every ounce of his being. Good times, good times.

That night, Carrie and Matt came up to pick up Jordan. We had dinner at our house and then it was time for her to go...that is until next summer. We wonder as she gets older if she will want to keep coming up.

At the Konza

Took the boys and Jordan to Konza on Tuesday to Hike. We just did the 2 mile hike and for the most part everyone enjoyed it. I could have done without the bugs. But other than that is was a nice day and we had a good time.
Aiden did really well except for the big hills. I had to carry him up those (wish I didn't run the 4 miles that day!). Then towards the end we were in a hurry to get back (piano practice) and Jordan needed the bathroom (the konza bathrooms were close for "winter"). Unfortuately Aiden wanted to stop and look at every rock. I ended up putting him on my shoulders, which he hated and fought me on the rest of the way.

NKOTB

Charla, Carrie and I drove to Dallas on Friday for the New Kids on the Block concert. They were awesome and we had a blast.

My sister-in-law Kelly works at a bakery in Dallas and she was asked to make a cake for NKOTB that was for a party they were having the night before the concert to wrap up the end of their tour. She did such an awesome job, the cake pictures are included too.

Also, because of the bakery we got great (and free!) tickets. We had "VIP" tickets which included special parking, a special entrance, a special little club/lounge area, and were such good seats we had better seats then famous people. Kelly and her sister, Josie, sat infront of Kelly Clarkson and her friends. My sisters and I sat infront of a lady and her crew who are currently filming a reality series for the Oxygen channel. Her friend Sam was hilarious and we had a blast with him.

Pictures...the first couple of Aiden before I left because I think he's adorable and makes me happy.

Videos...the videos are not very good because I was too busy going crazy and if you hear me sing, I'm sorry but I was having fun!

Sorry Sister Missionaries...

If you are or were a Sister Missionary you might be offended by the following statement made by Damon this afternoon.

There lesson in Primary was on becoming missionaries. After church he was telling me about it and showing the picture he colored in class. And he says, "I think the boy missionaries are more handsome than the girl missionaries."

Adam must be dissing the sister missionaries too much at home!

We then foundout later that he thought the sisters had to dress the same way as the boys, even with short hair, and he just knew that wouldn't look good on a girl.

Omaha Trip

This weekend we took a little trip to go to the temple in Omaha with Adam's parents. Friday night we went to the temple and then Saturday we stopped by the mall and ate at the Cheesecake Factory. (FYI, I got the Chicken Enchiladeas and they were AWESOME! The Tuxedo Chocolate cheesecake wasn't bad either and I need to run on the treadmill for 3 hours minimum to make up for this weekend's diet!)

After that we left Omaha and drove to Nebraska City to go to the Arbor Day Farm. The farm was built by J Sterling Morton who was the founder of Arbor Day. He and his wife after leaving Michigan to come to Nebraska, missed the trees and started planting. We had a lot of fun walking the trails and seeing the different sculptures that had been added. They had a really neat kids area all the boys loved. Aiden walked most of the way too which is just amazing...he was really tired and slept the whole way home which was perfect.

Independence Day

This evening we got together with everyone at the Little's for dinner and fireworks.

I didn't get a lot of pictures this night either...I'm so lame!

80th Birthday

It was Papa Don's 80th birthday on June 29th so we celebrated with a big party on the 3rd. The entire family came up (and over) to Manhattan for the party and a family reunion.

Friday night we had a family dinner and family pictures taken. We then had some friends from Manhattan stop by to help us eat an awesome cake that Kelly had made. We held it at the Train Depot which was the perfect size for our "controlled" madness.

I didn't get a lot of pictures because I was busy, but here are some that Adam or I took...

My new little artist...

...even though he is right-handed.
