Friday we spent most of the day in Allen shopping. I loved it! I don't know why but shopping makes me the happiest girl ever. Friday night we drove up to Sherman to watch nephew Ross play football. If I knew anything about it I would tell you why he did so awesome, but I just know that he did awesome and thats it.
Saturday, Adam and I were able to go to the Temple. Its always nice to go to the Dallas temple. Its not the prettiest one in the world but since we were married there it makes it more special.
Later we went to Dealey Plaza where John F. Kennedy was shot. Honestly, I don't know that much about JFK but my mom dearly loved him which is why I wanted to go to Dealey Plaza. We wanted to go to the museum that they made out of the Book Depository but either they think very highly of their museum or I'm cheap...we thought the price was way too high to drag three kids through so we passed that up and spent a little bit of time in the gift shop.
After we stopped by the fountain place which supposedly is a place where the kids can run through the fountains but it turns out that is not true...since the security guard came out and spoke to us three times, I think she was happy for us to leave.
After naps we went to Salt Grass to visit one of Adam's brothers, Marty and his family. It was fun to see Jessica's baby belly. And our first time to meet Amanda and Travis baby, Emma. Plus, Janna and I love to gossip and that is always great fun!
Sunday after church we had Brooke (another niece) and Ryan over for dinner.
Monday morning, Adam and Ben ran a 5k. It wasn't the best running experience for them but they still did pretty good. They finished 2nd and 3rd for their age bracket.
Later that day we did some shopping at Ikea and The Container Store. After eating at the Cheesecake Factory we went to ride the trolleys. The boys love the trolleys. We go almost everytime we are in Dallas, its free which makes it even more awesome. The best part of the trolley ride...the boys like to sit in their own seats instead of sharing a bench. Xavier was on the bench infront of Adam and I, Damon was on the bench infront of Ben and Kelly. At one stop a strange man got on and sat down right beside Xavier. Xavier turned around and gave us such a shocked, terrified look, I wish we had a picture of it. He then gets up, without looking anyone in the eye and walks across the aisle to sit by Damon. When the man got off at the next stop, Xavier moved back to his seat. His face was priceless.

Thanks for coming to visit us. I think Tucker was sad for about 3 days after you left. He loves all of the attention he gets from the boys.
Congrats on the 5k, Adam. It sounds like the family had a great time in the Big D. I would have probably skipped the tour of the Book Depository Museum, too... gotta have money for the shopping, after all! :-)
