New puppy...

Looks like we have another new puppy in the house. 

 A Grayson puppy...

I don't know what it is about dog kennels, but my kids sure do love them.  Remember this?  Maybe thats what we should get Grayson for Christmas. 



And I just thought this was cute, Grayson sitting on the rocking chair and Lockett came up and laid with him.  I thought he would try and grab his cracker but he just laid down instead.

The other day when Adam came home from work, we were in the bedroom talking and when we came out just a few minutes later our three big boys were sitting at the table doing homework.  (Aiden was actually just coloring, his school doesn't do homework.)  It was such a shocking, sweet, AWESOME moment, I had to take a picture. 


And don't we look very religious with all of our Bibles and Books of Mormon on the table???

Mock Thanksgiving

Sunday we had a pretend Thanksgiving with my parents.  Damon and Xavier spent most of the time playing with the mini Foosball and air hockey tables that my parents have.  Jax and Grayson were both in overalls and they looked so cute.  We tried desperately to get a picture of the two of them together but it was impossible.  We had yummy turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and more.  Got a dog.  And came home.  It was a quick trip but fun to see everyone and celebrate Thanksgiving a little early.

Its a boy!

We surprised the boys this weekend by getting a dog.  Something I honestly never thought would happen.  But here he is, all because of Facebook.  The boys named him Lockett after Tyler Lockett who is a K-State Football player.  He is a Jack Russell terrier and has been very loved.  Every time Aiden sees him he says, "My doggy, my new doggy."

A friend from high school had him and decided he wasn't a fit for her family and offered him up to her Facebook friends.  Since Jack Russells are one of Adam's favorite breeds I sent him a quick email to see what he thought.  We happened to be going down to El Dorado over the weekend which gave us the opportunity to meet him.  We wanted to see how he reacted with Aiden and Grayson since they are little.  We also wanted my sister to look at him since she is our own little dog expert.  Everything went well so home he went.

I wish I had a picture of the boys faces when we brought him back to the house.  They were so excited.  All night Damon and Xavier kept saying, "This is the best weekend ever." 

Halloween

We had Damon as Ben 10 Alien Force, Xavier as a ninja, Aiden as a Knight and Grayson as a Dragon.

Bug Zoo

I took the boys to the KSU Insect Zoo a few weeks ago when they had no school.  Its a scary place filled with all kinds of creepy crawly things.  I hope to never go again, but the boys liked it.
